POSITION OVERVIEW

The Temporary Finance Manager will provide short-term coverage for a three (3) month period, ensuring continuity of day-to-day financial operations across the CO/STUDIOS ecosystem. This role is primarily executional and oversight-focused, supporting internal leadership by maintaining accurate financial reporting, managing payables and receivables, and overseeing routine financial processes during the coverage period.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable stepping into an established system with minimal ramp-up. This role requires the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with leadership and external partners as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain day-to-day financial operations during the maternity leave coverage period
2. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accuracy
3. Monitor cash flow and flag any issues or anomalies to leadership

Reporting & Reconciliation

1. Prepare and maintain routine financial reports (weekly/monthly as applicable)
2. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and expense reports
3. Ensure financial records are accurate, organized, and up to date

Vendor & Contractor Payments

1. Process vendor invoices and contractor payments according to existing schedules
2. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve payment questions or discrepancies

Systems & Continuity

1. Operate within existing accounting systems, tools, and workflows
2. Document any issues, updates, or recommendations for handoff back to the Finance Manager upon return

FINAL DELIVERABLES

1. Accurate and up-to-date financial records for the coverage period
2. Completion of all scheduled payables, receivables, and reconciliations
3. Clear documentation and handoff notes summarizing work completed, outstanding items, and recommendations

PROJECT COMPENSATION

1. Total Compensation: TBD - Based on Experience
2. Payment Terms: Paid upon project completion
3. Project Duration: 3 months beginning on January 5, 2026

NOTES & EXPECTATIONS

1. This is a temporary coverage assignment
2. Contractor will work independently within the CO/STUDIOS ecosystem, collaborating with other team members as needed.
3. All CO/Members operate under the CO/STUDIOS Master Services Agreement (MSA), which governs overall terms and conditions.
